I just got through reading Randy Hall's book
"Letterboxer's Companion" and thought it was
well written and informative. In fact, it was
such a good introduction to our hobby that I
thought it could be a great way to recruit new
letterboxers. If it was available in libraries
across the nation I think more people would stumble
upon it and get interested. I don't know if libraries
buy books or if publishers donate them but I intend
to ask my library if it can get a copy, even if I
have to donate one. Then, to make sure it doesn't
just collect dust on the shelf, I will see if I can
help put together a display of letterboxing in one
of the glass cases at my library. I was thinking
it could include the book, some of my letterboxing
tools and an old logbook showing some stamps. I'll
let you know what I find out.
